1 - INTRODUCTION

By booking accommodation or services at Nakama Uluwatu, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making your reservation.

By completing your booking, you agree to the selected rate, any applicable charges, and these Terms and Conditions governing your stay and use of this website.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

2 - BOOKING CONFIRMATION

Reservations are confirmed only upon receipt of a 50% deposit of the total booking amount and issuance of a confirmation email by Nakama Uluwatu.

The remaining 50% balance will be charged to the payment method provided fourteen (14) days before the scheduled check-in date.

If the automatic payment is unsuccessful, Nakama Uluwatu will notify the guest by email. The guest will have three (3) calendar days to complete the outstanding payment or provide an alternative valid payment method.

If payment is not received within this period, Nakama Uluwatu reserves the right to cancel the reservation. In such cases, the initial 50% deposit will be forfeited and is non-refundable.

Reservations made within fourteen (14) days of the scheduled check-in date require full payment (100%) at the time of booking and are non-refundable.

3 - PAYMENT METHODS

We offer secure digital payment methods to make booking easy and convenient. Available payment methods will be presented during the booking process and may vary depending on your location and payment provider.

4 - ROOM RATES & PRICES

The most accurate source of our official room rates and prices is our official website or our Reservations Team. Rates and prices displayed through these channels are the best available for rooms and other services offered by Nakama Uluwatu.

5 - RATE DISPLAY & PROMOTIONS

All prices are quoted and payable in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) or another supported currency where available. Rates are subject to change without prior notice and may vary depending on seasonality, availability, special offers, and other applicable conditions.

Additional charges may apply during peak or high season periods. Please refer to the final price displayed at the time of booking for the most accurate rates.

6 - REFUNDS

Any refund due under the applicable cancellation policy will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution and are outside Nakama Uluwatu's control.

Bank charges, currency conversion fees, payment processing fees, or other charges imposed by third-party financial institutions are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.

No refunds will be issued except as provided under the applicable cancellation policy or where required by law.

7 - FORCE MAJEURE

Nakama Uluwatu shall not be liable for any cancellation, delay, interruption, or failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, fires, explosions, pandemics, epidemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, labor disputes, government actions or restrictions, transportation disruptions, utility failures, or any other force majeure event.

Guests requesting an exception under this Force Majeure Policy must submit their request in writing at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled check-in date and provide sufficient supporting evidence demonstrating that a genuine force majeure event directly prevented them from traveling or fulfilling their reservation.

Nakama Uluwatu reserves the right to take a reasonable period of time to review the request, verify the supporting evidence, and determine whether the request qualifies under this Force Majeure Policy.

In the event of a verified force majeure, Nakama Uluwatu may offer rescheduling, a booking credit for a future stay, or a partial refund depending on the circumstances.

Any exception granted under this Force Majeure Policy is made solely at the discretion of Nakama Uluwatu after reviewing the circumstances and supporting evidence provided by the guest.

YOUR STAY AT NAKAMA ULUWATU

8 - SECURITY DEPOSIT FOR DAMAGES & INCIDENTAL CHARGES

Nakama Uluwatu reserves the right to require a refundable security deposit, in an amount determined by management, prior to or upon check-in. The deposit may be collected using any payment method accepted by the hotel.

The security deposit will be refunded after check-out, subject to inspection of the room and confirmation that no damage, loss, excessive cleaning, or other incidental charges have occurred.

Guests are responsible for any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning costs resulting from their stay, whether caused intentionally or accidentally. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to furniture, fixtures, linens, towels, decorations, equipment, or any other hotel property.

Guests are encouraged to report any damage immediately so that repairs can be arranged as soon as possible.

Nakama Uluwatu reserves the right to deduct the cost of repairs, replacement, excessive cleaning, or any other reasonable expenses resulting from damage, misuse, or violation of these Terms and Conditions from the security deposit. If such costs exceed the amount of the deposit, the guest remains responsible for paying the outstanding balance.

Failure to provide a required security deposit may result in the cancellation or refusal of the reservation without refund.

9 - SMOKING POLICY

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside guest rooms and all indoor areas of the hotel.

Guests may smoke outdoors, provided that they do so responsibly and in a manner that does not disturb other guests or create any safety concerns.

If smoking or vaping occurs inside a room, Nakama Uluwatu reserves the right to charge the guest for professional deep cleaning, deodorizing, repairs, or any other costs resulting from smoke damage or odor removal. Any applicable security deposit may be used toward these costs.

10 - SWIMMING POOL

Use of the swimming pool is entirely at the guest’s own risk.

For safety reasons, glass containers and glassware are not permitted in the pool area.

11 - PARKING

Complimentary on-site parking is available for registered guests, subject to availability.

Vehicles and their contents are parked entirely at the owner's risk. Nakama Uluwatu is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or personal property left inside vehicles.

Guests must park only in designated parking areas and follow any instructions provided by hotel staff.

12 - PETS

Pets belonging to guests are not permitted anywhere on the hotel premises.

Bringing a pet onto the property may result in immediate eviction without refund. Nakama Uluwatu reserves the right to retain any applicable security deposit and charge any additional costs required for professional cleaning, repairs, or damages resulting from the unauthorized pet.

Please note that Nakama Uluwatu has two friendly resident dogs on the property. They are healthy, fully vaccinated, and carefully looked after by our team.

13 - INSECTS & PESTS

Insects and other pests are a natural part of Bali’s tropical environment. While Nakama Uluwatu carries out regular professional pest control and fumigation, it is normal for insects to occasionally enter the property despite these preventive measures.The presence of geckos, ants, mosquitoes, or other tropical wildlife is a natural aspect of staying in a tropical destination and does not indicate a problem with the accommodation.

Guests who are particularly sensitive to insects should be aware that occasional encounters are part of the tropical environment in Bali and cannot be completely eliminated.

If you encounter any issues with insects or pests during your stay, please notify our staff as soon as possible. We will be happy to assist and take reasonable steps to address the issue.

14 - ACCESSIBILITY

Due to the design of the property, Nakama Uluwatu may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility or certain accessibility requirements.

The property includes stairs, uneven surfaces, and other architectural features that may limit accessibility.

Guests with specific accessibility needs are encouraged to contact us prior to booking so we can determine whether the property is suitable for their requirements.

15 - CHILDREN & MINORS

Nakama Uluwatu is an adults-only property.

Guests under the age of 18 are not permitted.

If a reservation is made in violation of this policy, Nakama Uluwatu reserves the right to cancel the reservation prior to arrival or refuse check-in, in accordance with the applicable booking terms and platform policies.

16 - DRUGS & HAZARDOUS MATERIALS

The possession, use, distribution, or storage of illegal drugs, prohibited substances, flammable liquids, explosives, weapons, or any other hazardous materials is strictly prohibited anywhere on the hotel premises.

Any violation of this policy may result in immediate eviction without refund and may be reported to the appropriate authorities in accordance with Indonesian law.

17 - GENERAL HOUSE RULES

We strive to provide a comfortable and relaxing environment for all our guests. We kindly ask everyone to be respectful of other guests by keeping noise to a minimum, especially during nighttime hours.

Parties and excessive noise are not permitted. Failure to comply with these rules may result in guests being asked to leave the property without a refund.

RESPONSIBILITY & LEGAL

18 - LIABILITY & GUEST RESPONSIBILITY

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover potential losses or unexpected events, including illness, injury, death, loss or damage to personal belongings, travel delays, and trip cancellation.

Guests are responsible for their own personal safety, the security of their personal belongings, and for exercising reasonable care while using the hotel's facilities throughout their stay.

Nakama Uluwatu is not liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, theft, or damage suffered by guests or their personal belongings, vehicles, or other property, whether inside or outside the hotel premises, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Nakama Uluwatu shall not be liable for any delay, inconvenience, additional expenses, or failure to perform its obligations resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to transportation delays, government actions, natural disasters, utility failures, or equipment and service interruptions.

Nakama Uluwatu is not responsible for any acts, omissions, delays, accidents, injuries, losses, or damages arising from services provided by independent third parties, including but not limited to airport transfers, scooter rentals, tours, excursions, surf lessons, wellness services, or any other external activities arranged through or recommended by the hotel.

While every reasonable effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information published on our website, Nakama Uluwatu reserves the right to modify or update content, rates, services, facilities, and policies at any time without prior notice.

19 - GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Indonesia.
